ALL ABOARD for Christmas fun at the town’s Kingfisher Centre.
Saturday (November 28) saw the return of the centre’s children’s train ride, which is free to ride and will run until Christmas Eve.
The train will be taking passengers Monday to Saturday from 10.30am until 5.30pm with a one hour break for lunch. On Sundays the train will operate from 10.30am until 4.30pm.
Ken Williams, the Kingfisher Shopping Centre’s general manager, said: “We’re thrilled to have the children’s train back this Christmas.
“The train is always a popular addition to our festive offering and this year will be no exception.”
Visitors to the town centre can also enjoy a taste of Germany at the Christmas Market on Market Place by St Stephens Church, which offers everything from hot dogs to chestnuts and hot mulled cider.
Meanwhile youngsters can pay a visit to Father Christmas and tell him exactly what they want for Christmas, every day Monday to Sunday until Christmas Eve in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre.
