RESIDENTS are being urged to be ensure they make the right healthcare choices over Christmas to ensure they get the best treatment in the shortest time possible.
Local pharmacists can give expert, confidential advice or medicines for minor ailments such as colds, tummy troubles and much more.
Pharmacy times will differ on Christmas Day and the two bank holidays – here are which ones are open and when.
On Christmas Day, Pascal Solutions, Church Road, Redditch, will open between 3pm and 6pm. Wythall Pharmacy is open from 10am to 4pm
On Monday, December 27, Boots in the Kingfisher Centre will open from 8.30am to 5pm and the Tesco Extra Pharmacy will open between 9am and 1pm. Wythall Pharmacy is open from 10am to 4pm
On Tuesday, December 28, Boots in the Kingfisher Centre will open from 9am to 5pm and the Tesco Extra Pharmacy will open between 9am and 1pm. Wythall Pharmacy is open from 10am to 4pm
The Minor Injuries Unit at Bromsgrove’s Princess of Wales Community Hospital is also open from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday (last appointment 7.30pm) and 12pm to 8pm Saturday and Sunday (last appointment 7.30pm).
The X-Ray opening times at the Princess of Wales Community Hospital are between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday (closed between 1pm and 2pm)
People can also go to NHS 111 online or call 111, the free NHS Service 24 hours-a-day when it is not an emergency.
