A GREAT opportunity to buy a unique gift for Christmas is coming along when Arts in Redditch hold their autumn pop-up exhibition.
The gallery, which runs from November 21 to December 1, will be in a vacant unit in Walford Walk in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre, opposite Clintons Cards.
The gallery will showcase the great variety of artistic talent in the Redditch area, and encouraging others to get involved in creative activities.
Work on display will include paintings, drawings, ceramics, needlecraft, jewellery and photography, and all the work will be available to buy for collection at the end of the event.
In all 50 local artists will be involved, in this latest event, some for the first time.
The gallery will be open from 10am to 4pm weekdays and Sundays, and from 9am to 5pm on Saturdays.
“This is the 12th occasion we have run these pop-up galleries in the Kingfisher Centre, and these events have helped to demonstrate just how much interest there is in arts and culture in Redditch,” said Malcolm Hall, chair of Arts in Redditch.
“More than 30,000 people have visited us over the past five years, and approximately 175 artists have been involved at different times.
“Since starting, sales of more than £40,000 have been made, helping artists fund their art.
“Once again, we have had fantastic support from Ken Williams, Fiona Faizey and their colleagues at the Kingfisher Shopping Centre, without whom these events could not happen.”
