Church Hill family RETURN to spread festive cheer with stunning Christmas lights

Redditch Editorial 7th Dec, 2020   0

A FAMILY in Church Hill is spreading festive cheer once again this year by decorating their house with stunning Christmas lights.

The Mernagh family decided they weren’t going to let Covid-19 get in the way of their annual celebrations.

Each year they ask visitors to the Rush Lane house to make a small donation to a chosen charity.

The kind-hearted family will raise vital funds for Redditch’s Disability Support Project this time around.

The charity, based in the Ecumenical Centre, has been instrumental in providing Covid-19 relief efforts.

This alongside their usual activities of helping disabled people and their carers with assessments, tribunals and budgeting advice.

Disability Support Project has kindly donated sweetie bags to be given out to children who pay a special visit to the house.

The light show starts at 4pm every day.
