IT IS beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Redditch as Church Hill Big Local prepares to host its annual Christmas Fayre.
The annual event will take place between 5.30pm and 7.30pm on Wednesday, December 13 at Willow Trees Community Centre.
There will be plenty of seasonal stalls for people to browse, along with hot festive food and drink and enjoy.
Hundreds of excited youngsters will be able to see Father Christmas in his grotto throughout the Fayre.
And visitors can listen to the beautiful singing voices of several local school choirs.
Organisers have encouraged those attending to each bring a light to the Christmas Fayre, with options including a flashing Santa hat, some fairy lights or a torch.
And the person who is the best lit will win a prize.
Church Hill Big Local’s Christmas Fayre has been taking place for over a decade with last year’s event seeing a joint record number of over 1,500 people brave the cold weather to join in the festive fun.
It aims to give local people struggling with the cost-of-living an affordable event to get them in the Christmas spirit.
Last Yuletide, hundreds of selection boxes were handed out to children by the man in the big red suit as presents.
