LAST week we reported on the inquest into the death of Ann Mowbray of Allendale Crescent, Studley.
We would like to state that at no time did the Coroner find that opportunities existed and/or were missed by any individual or group to prevent the murder.
The Coroner accepted that any comments made by Mr Mowbray about killing his wife to the Elder Stephen Kelly could not have been reasonably taken as a serious threat at the time they were made.
Neither did he find that a safeguarding policy or a report to the police regarding this comment would have led to a different conclusion.
The Coroner concluded that there was no failure of Jehovah’s Witnesses in this incident.
