CAR enthusiasts will be revving up their engines as the Redditch and District Car Club set off on their Lavender Run this Sunday (July 19).
Over 50 classic rally cars are expected to take part with one coming all the way from France.
The event represents an opportunity to see some of the great cars of British rallying including Mini Coopers, a Triumph TR4, MGs, Jaguars, Morgans and much more including a rare 1951 Austin Atlantic.
The rally starts at 9.15am from the Jinny Ring at Hanbury as the cars setting off on a 130 mile journey through Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Warwickshire to the lavender fields of the Cotswolds before finishing in Evesham
The Lavender Run has been organised through the Historic Rally Car Register and this is the fifth year it has taken place and everyone is welcome to go along to the see the start.
