CLOTHES for adults, items for dignity packs and practical shoes are all being called for by big hearted volunteers struggling to help refugees fleeing civil war and disruption in their own country.
Members of the charities People in Motion and Bromsgrove & Redditch Welcome Refugees are holding a collection at The Bridge Church on Evesham Road, Headless Cross next Saturday, July 7 and are appealing for donations. Also needed are items like back packs, sleeping bags and blankets. The appeal not only offers an opportunity to have a summer clear out but also to help those in dire need.
The collection runs from 2pm to 4pm.
