REES CAFE in Redditch town centre is hosting their official launch day on August 20.
The cafe aims to provide support for anyone over 18 who has been involved in foster or social services.
Guests are expected to arrive at 12.30pm for drinks and cakes.
At 1pm Mayor of Redditch Juliet Brunner will be giving a speech.
This will be followed by a talk from the founder of the Rees foundation.
Project leader and owner of Rees Cafe, Polly Jones, said: “We are a safe space for anyone in the community to come and relax in.”
According to Polly the afternoon will be topped off with “fantastic prizes” to be won in the raffle.
Tickets for the event can be picked up at Rees Cafe on Church Road.
