RESIDENTS in Redditch can receive free advice through the council’s Energy Advice Service to help them cut their fuel bills and ‘keep warm for less’ this winter.
The Energy Advice Service gives residents the opportunity to speak to expert advisers who can provide tailored guidance on tariff switching, how best to use heating controls and lifestyle changes which can save energy.
Residents can also learn which energy efficiency upgrades will be most cost effective for their property.
In addition, eligible householders will be guided on available funding towards energy efficiency installations including A-rated boilers and insulation to help make savings on their fuel bills.
The Borough Council is working with new delivery partner, YES Energy Solutions, who will provide advice and facilitate energy efficiency installations through a network of accredited installers.
Coun Brandon Clayton, whose portfolio covers environmental services, said: “With our new partners we hope to offer our residents support, advice and access to funding opportunities.
“The Energy Advice Service will help us tackle the current Climate Emergency by offering top tips to save energy.”
