HEALTH chiefs have announced that 48 patients in total have died from coronavirus at Worcestershire hospitals.
The patients whose deaths were announced by Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust were aged between 54 and 98.
Today also marked the UK’s deadliest day after the death toll rose by 938 – taking the grim total to over 7,000.
Positive cases in the UK have also hit 60,733 – up from 55,242 infections on Tuesday.
