CRABBS Cross Academy in Redditch has won a county-level award for its use of the Primary Sports Premium Funding.
The cash, given to all schools across the country from Central Government, is designed to help improve each school overall.
Awards have been given out by Sports Partnership Herefordshire and Worcestershire to celebrate sport and physical activity in local schools.
Crabbs Cross used its funding to set up the ‘Healthy Breakfast Club’ which delivers a wide range of beneficial foods for children to enjoy.
The school also incorporated a physical activity programme to help keep the children fit.
A spokesperson for Sports Partnership Herefordshire and Worcestershire, said the organisation wanted to recognise the good work being done with the funding.
