A POPULAR cycle/pedestrian pathway which provides access to Arrow Valley Country Park will be closed for improvement works next week.
The pathway that runs off Proctors Barn Lane will be closed from Tuesday, April 18 for approximately three days. During this time pedestrians and cyclists can still access the park along the lane which was resurfaced last year.
The cycle/pedestrian route along the opposite side of the lane will then be closed for a further three days once these works are complete.
The works are taking place to repair the wear and tear along the pathway and improve the condition of this route for visitors of the park
Jackie Boreham, Parks and Recreation Officer, said: “This pathway is now in need of urgent repair and we will aim to complete the works as quickly and efficiently as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience caused during this time.”
