A CYCLIST was seriously injured after being hit by a car whose driver then failed to stop after the crash.
Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the white or silver car after the hit and run incident which happened at around 5pm on Tuesday (December 13) on Sillins Avenue.
The car in question was last seen heading towards Studley Road.
The cyclist, a man in his sixties, suffered serious injuries and was taken to the Alexandra Hospital, before being transferred to the Worcestershire Royal where he is being treated for fractures, head and internal injuries.
Officers conducted house to house enquiries following the collision, but anyone who either saw the collision, or has information which would help the investigation is asked to call police on 101 quoting 530S of December 13.
