REDDITCH Borough Council has set a date in the calendar for the long-standing Green Fair event, which promises to be bigger and better than ever.
The free entry event has taken place in the Borough for over a decade and will again take place at Arrow Valley Country Park, on Saturday June 14 between 11am and 7pm.
The Green Fair is being given a fresh start this year, proactively promoting sustainability, biodiversity, climate change awareness, nature, upcycling and health and wellbeing.
Cabinet member for leisure, Coun Juliet Barker Smith, said: “The Green Fair event is having a fresh start this year and hopes to inspire, educate, celebrate, and promote a greener tomorrow in our Borough.”
The Fair at Arrow Valley Country Park will have information stalls, health, wellbeing and mindfulness activities as well as arts and crafts activities with the aim to inspire, educate and celebrate.
In addition, there will also be live entertainment, a children’s funfair and a food court.
