THE dates for four new Redditch triathlon events have been released for aspiring local competitors of all ages and abilities to get involved in.
Two Duathlons have been arranged with the first one taking place at Umberslade Business Centre on February 3. Participants will complete 8km on an indoor bike as well as running 2km on a private road.
Another Duathlon at Abbey Stadium will require the racers to run 2.5km followed by an 11km bike ride.
Those wanting to challenge themselves further can enter the Super Sprint Triathlon, which will start at Abbey Stadium on April 7.
This race will see the triathletes swim for 200m before taking part in a 11 km bike ride and a 2.5 km run.
There will be two more triathlons on June 2 to kick off the summer, with the first requiring a 750m swim followed by a 22km bike race and a 2.5km run.
This will be followed by a Super Sprint with participants tasked to swim for 350m before completing 11km on the bike and running a further 2.5km by Lenches Lakes.
The cost for the February event are £6, with the March Duathlon £7.50 and the April triathlon costing £9.50.
