Diner in Redditch's Kingfisher Centre is off the menu

Redditch Editorial 15th Dec, 2017   0

RETRO American diner, Shake Dog, has now closed its doors to fast-food-fans in Redditch.

The burger joint opened in the shopping centre just seven months ago, in the space Ed’s Easy Diner used to occupy and the eatery recently closed with no notice or announcement to customers.

The space in the Kingfisher is currently vacant.

Ken Williams, General Manager at Kingfisher, said: “We can confirm that Shake Dog has ceased trading at Kingfisher. It is natural to see retailers come and go as the shopping centre evolves and we are currently in discussions with the owners of Shake Dog about the future of this space.

“We are pleased to have secured some great names for the centre over recent months, including The Range, HMV, Smiggle and Trespass, and we are excited to reveal that we are planning to announce some new brands for the shopping centre Smiggle and Trespass, and we are in due course.”
