A ‘MAMMOTH’ coffee morning held in Redditch last Wednesday raised £1,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Diane Driscoll has held her annual event at her home in Vicarage Crescent for the past 14 years.
Her overall total is now up to £31.500, which includes cash colleted for the cause throughout the year.
People flocked for coffee, tea and, of course, plenty of home-made cakes.
Di said: “I’d like to say a massive thank you to Love Your Hair and Richard the butcher in Batchley, also the motor repair garage in Windsor Road and Gavin at Marks and Spencer in Selly Oak.
“They’ve all been fantastic, as have all my friends and neighbours who came and rallied around to help out on the day as they have every year.
“The sun came out which also helped and the event was an overall massive success.”
