THERE is still time to sign up for a charity walking event to raise funds for the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.
Already more than 500 people have signed up for the ‘Rock Pound the Bounds’ event, which will take place on Sunday 30 April.
Participants can choose between a marathon, 18 mile, half marathon, nine mile or six mile route through terrain including woodland, pasture, riverside and meadow.
Fundraising manager for the charity Michelle McCracken, said: “Rock Pound the Bounds is a lovely day out for the whole family, with routes for all abilities, including a three mile treasure trail for young families.
“In 2016, the event raised over £7,000 for the charity, which helped to fund two lifesaving air ambulance missions.”
