THE magic of Disney came to Alcester last Sunday, June 9, when the annual Court Leet Street Market took place.
Hundreds of people poured into the town’s High Street which had decorated shop windows, pubs and stalls all on this year’s theme – Disney.
The parade at 12.45pm had a large contingent of fancy dressers from Mary Poppins to Dalmatians and Mr and Mrs Potato Head.
A quintet of live singers and bands took the market goers into the early evening.
“The day went really well, the sun shone which helped and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves,” said Marc Venables from Alcester’s historic Court Leet.
Profits from the street market all go towards the High Bailiff’s charity fund.
