STUDENTS at Tudor Grange Academy in Redditch are all smiles after brand new outdoor table tennis tables were delivered.
The new kit was donated by Oakland Foundation, which is dedicated to supporting children under 16 and their families through schemes focused on education, health and nutrition and sport.
Their mission is to ensure every child, regardless of background or ability has the opportunity to participate and thrive.
The school has now launched a new after-school table tennis club every Friday and has purchased an additional indoor table for use within the school’s specialist autism provision.
Associate principal Ben Lumley said: “We’re absolutely thrilled with the arrival of these tables, made possible by the Oakland Foundation.
“Seeing our students so engaged and having fun is truly fantastic.
“The new after-school club has quickly become a highlight of our week.”
