THE Redditch Association for the Blind recently donated six USB memory stick players to Redditch Library.
The association is a registered UK charity which offers help to blind and partially sighted people in the town.
They currently support around 250 registered blind and partially sighted people in the area by providing an annual grant and financial support to make their members lives easier.
Library staff will now be introducing the devices to their Library Service at Home customers which supports housebound residents.
Library manager Teresa Jordan said: “Many thanks go to the Redditch Association for the Blind. We are look forward to continuing working with them in order to provide the best possible service to our customers.”
The Redditch Library Service at Home is currently searching for a volunteer driver to join their team.
