MUSIC lovers should make tracks for the Cross Keys pub in Alcester next Sunday, July 9 when a double bill of top talent takes to the stage in the latest Jack Blackman Tuery Session.
Claire Boswell’s distinctive and timeless sound evokes the aura of the Woodstock generation.
With resonating lyrics, mellifluous vocals, and a subtle technical expertise she’s been compared with the likes of Joan Baez, Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris.
Claire also combines progressive songwriting with an effortless voice to create pieces capturing both emotion and truth.
She draws on folk-rock, country, blues and jazz all delivered with a touch of old world magic.
Her debut album was featured in the Daily Telegraph’s ‘Top Folk Albums Of 2014’.
Joining her will be roots music band Mesa, an outfit formed out of the ashes of Midland’s favourites The Delta Blues Band.
Now offering a offering a potent mix of blues, americana and reggae they are sure to get the Cross Keys rocking.
Music starts at 6pm and will include a raffle and jam session to close proceedings.
