THREE Year 9 Trinity High School students Finlay Dalby, Toby Singh and Luke Taylor joined Prince Harry and 10,000 other supporters to watch England take part in an open training session at Twickenham Stadium last month.

The mini bus leeft Trinity at the eye watering time of 6.30am and by the time they arrived at Twickenham the lads were just waking up.

Supporters from grassroots clubs and schools from all over England, alongside local residents, attended the session as the squad continued preparations for their NatWest 6 Nations game against Scotland at Murrayfield, where they were comprehensively beaten.

The interactive session led by head coach Eddie Jones, gave a great insight to how an elite team train and what is expected of professional sports people.

The coach was able to explain the session throughout via microphone to the crowd giving students a unique opportunity to see their heroes in action and get selfies with their favourite players after the session.

Head teacher Adrian Ward said: “This was a fantastic opportunity for these three students; they are all avid rugby fans and players and to brush shoulders with their idols must have been so thrilling for them.”
