A HOUSE in Studley suffered significant damage last Saturday night when a car crashed into it knocking a hole in the corner.
The incident happened shortly after 9pm at a property adjacent to a row of takeaways in Alcester Road leaving a large crack in the plasterwork and bricks strewn across the pavement.
A passenger was treated for head injuries and the driver left the scene, Warwickshire Police said.
A spokesperson from West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed: “We were called at 9.06pm on Saturday (January 18) to Alcester Road, Studley to reports of a car which had collided with a house.
“One ambulance crew attended and treated a passenger for injuries before being conveyed to the Alexandra Hospital for further precautionary checks.”
Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to check the structure of the building and closed the road to traffic.
