Drugs ring jailed after officers spot Wythall exchange

Redditch Editorial 4th Sep, 2023   0

A DRUGS ring that dealt more than £3million worth of cocaine has been jailed after officers spotted an exchange in Wythall.

Officers from the West Midlands Regional Organised Crime Unit (ROCU) acted on information and quickly shut down the drugs operation which operated mainly in Birmingham between January and March 2022.

The ring had supplied at least 100 kilogrammes of cocaine during that time.

More than £1.7 million in cash linked to the network has also been seized.

Officers saw Trevor Lichfield, of Willets Road, Northfield, conduct an exchange with Perry Emery in Wythall last February.

Police stopped Emery shortly after and seized cocaine.

The following month they monitored Fallon Pardoe meeting Christopher Organ in Harborne to carry out another exchange before swooping on the latters home and recovering more cocaine.

Investigations into contact between members of the gang were conducted and police discovered Lichfield arranged the meet between Pardoe and Organ.

Phone records showed Lichfield, Pardoe and Organ were heavily involved in trading large amounts of drugs and were convicted of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs following a trial.

They were sentenced at Birmingham Crown Court on Thursday, August, 24.

Lichfield, aged 35 was jailed for nine years and nine months, while 39-year-old Pardoe, of Wensley Road, Yardley, received 10 years and six months.

Organ, aged 49, of Simcox Gardens, Harborne, was jailed for four years and eight months, while 35-year-old Emery, of Littlemead Road, Worcestershire, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply and got four years.
