The Duke of Kent paid a flying visit to St Bede’s Catholic Middle School this afternoon, with his helicopter landing on their school playing field.
His Royal Highness the Duke, the Queen’s first cousin, was visiting Redditch today to find out about local businesses and community groups including Heartbeat UK’s new training academy, Thorlux Lighting and Community House, where representatives from various Redditch groups greeted him and spoke about their role in the Redditch community.
The Duke spoke to both staff and pupils at the school before departing in his helicopter.
