THE supply chain specialist Slimstock, with headquarters in the Netherlands, is expanding its UK operation with new offices in Redditch, signing a five year lease.
Slimstock has taken 2,650 sq ft of space at Grosvenor House with the help of property agents John Truslove.
Founded in 1993, Slimstock has grown throughout Europe and besides forecasting, demand planning and inventory management, offers solutions for life cycle management, and order optimisation.
Richard Evans, Slimstock’s UK director, said: “We will this year reach two fantastic landmarks. “Firstly, we will have won over 100 customers in 2015 and secondly this will mean that we now support over 700 customers. Our commitment to continue this growth can be seen by our dedication to expand our infrastructure.
“The Redditch development is on the back of annual growth of 25-30 per cent a year in the UK. It is about growth, expansion, ease of communications and improved facilities. We will be increasing numbers and this location offers us an ideal base in which to operate from.”
Ian Parker, a director of John Truslove, said: “Slimstock were impressed with Grosvenor House, the quality of accommodation and the ease of dealing with the landlord. Relationships are paramount to us and both John Truslove and the landlord were efficient and effective to deal with.”
The UK office is one of many in Slimstock’s global reach which now includes locations such as USA, Canada, Chile, Brazil to name just a few.
