RESIDENTS are being urged to ensure they get the right care over the bank holiday weekend.
The Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care Trusts – which runs the Minor Injury Units (MIUs) in Bromsgrove, Malvern and Evesham – are urging people to use the MIUs.
The walk-in service is open from 8am to 10pm everyday, including bank holidays.
This will help ease pressure on the county’s emergency departments.
Pharmacists can also offer a wealth of help and information with times differing during the bank holiday.
On Good Friday, the pharmacy at Tesco Extra, Coldfield Drive, is open from 10am to 4pm and Boots in the Kingfisher Centre is open between 9am and 6pm.
On Easter Sunday, the County Pharmacy, Church Road, Redditch, is open between 1pm and 4pm and Wythall Pharmacy, Station Road, will open from 10am to 1pm.
On Easter Monday, the pharmacy at Tesco Extra, Coldfield Drive, is open from 10am to 4pm and and Boots in the Kingfisher Centre is open between 10am and 5pm.
