Easter bonnet parade makes a welcome return after lockdown

NOAH’S Ark Nursery held their first Easter Bonnet Parade since the pandemic put a stop to the annual event.

Some 30 children attended wearing a range of decorated hats and paraded their works of art for the judges.

Speaking after the event, nursery manager Gill O’Gorman said: “We are delighted that we could resume the Easter Bonnet Parade, the children were thrilled and produced the most colourful entries.

Councillor Juliet Brunner ,who was invited to judge the parade said: “ I’d like to congratulate all the children who entered this year the standard was extremely high and it was exceptionally hard to make a choice!”
