Some would say this has taken one step nearer with plans to build more than 260 homes on woodland off Winyates Green.
It seems perverse to be destroying countless trees at ‘Mappleborough Woods’ when the need for more trees is patently clear.
Far better, as Coun Anthony Lovell points out, to build on spent agricultural land, which Redditch has, than destroy the habitat of countless species and encroach on other settlements with their own, unique identity.“
