THE Garden Suite at the Alexandra Hospital has a special place in the hearts of the people of Redditch.
Admittedly it’s a fancy name for a little facility tucked away in the hospital, but the work that goes on there, the bravery and spirit of the patients and care of the staff, is truly amazing.
Now that same care will still be there if its temporary move to Kidderminster General becomes permanent.
But the Garden Suite belongs in Redditch, and its home is in the Alex.
It should and must return when this pandemic is over.
