AN elderly driver has been rushed to hospital after a crash on Rough Hill Drive.
The driver of the pick-up truck suffered multiple “non-life threatening” injuries.
The road was closed whilst emergency services dealt with the incident.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called to reports of a collision between a pick up truck and a bus on Rough Hill in Redditch at about 9.55am on Thursday.
“An ambulance and a paramedic officer were sent to the scene.
“The Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham with an enhanced care team on board landed on the roadway.
“The driver of the pick up, an elderly man, received multiple non-life threatening injuries.
“He was assessed and treated at the scene before being taken by ambulance to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
“There were no other injuries.”
