AN ELDERLY woman had her savings stolen after burglars broke into her Batchley home.
Thieves forced their way into the 71-year-old’s Foxlydiate Crescent home between 9.50am and 12pm on Thursday, August 28.
They stole a quantity of cash which she had been saving up.
Det Con Mark Lazenby said: “The victim of this burglary was a vulnerable woman who was left very distressed.”
