A REDDITCH photographer has been named Entrepreneur of the Month after launching his own photography course.
Robert Salmon from OrFactor Productions, based in Church Hill, launched his course after being since being made redundant from his job at Jessops in the Kingfisher Centre.
The award recognises incredible achievement for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Robert, founder of The Photography Kickstarter Programme: said “It’s incredible to receive such an award, after being made redundant from my dream job.
“There’s so many people in the Redditch community that would love to learn about photography, so I knew I had to create something for all those who enjoy it as much as I do.
“We produce photography and video as a business, but since COVID I wanted to find a way to help and inspire others and that’s how The Photography Kickstarter Programme was born.”
Nicola De Sousa, head of the Entrepreneurs Circle Local Meeting in Redditch, who presented the award said: “Rob has worked extremely hard for months taking all his knowledge from his previous career to produce a course that serves his ideal clients really well.
“He’s really inspired others in the local area and we encourage anyone interested to get in touch.”
