A REDDITCH care home is inviting members of the community to an open day where guests can experience a day in the life of a resident.
Visitors can book a slot at Millcroft Care Home from 10am to 3pm tomorrow (Saturday, December 3) to spend time with the care staff and find out more about the care and support offered there.
The open day also gives guests a chance to meet with the home’s activities team where they will be able to join in with a fun activity typically planned with residents in mind, and sample food from the home’s taster menu.
The home’s Physiotherapy team will be on-hand to teach visitors some low-intensity exercises that promote physical fitness in the home.
They’ll be joined by representatives from the Abbey Stadium who will answer any questions about the facilities and support they can offer Millcroft residents.
Millcroft home manager Lyndsay Sard said: “Since opening our doors to potential residents last month, we’ve been busy making sure the lifestyle at Millcroft is both active and aspirational for all who choose to live with us.
“Our open day will give our new neighbours the opportunity to meet our friendly team, see what our home is about, and experience first-hand the care and support we offer – we can’t wait to show everyone our fantastic facilities.”
