Eyes right: Recruitment firm on new mission to boost Redditch foodbank

A REDDITCH recruitment company is using social media to get food donations delivered to its door.

AM2PM, based on Church Green West, has launched a campaign to boost donations to Redditch Foodbank this Christmas.

Manager Emma Cadd said: “Using social media is helping us hit different markets and boost our overall collections.

“This year we thought we’d team up with Redditch Foodbank in St Stephen’s Church, and help out a charity which is close to us.”

Two big baskets full of food, have already been donated but Foodbank manager Laura Kyte is hoping there will be more to come.

“We are similar to AM2PM in the sense that we try to help people get back on their feet,” said Laura.

“We don’t want anyone in our community going hungry and that’s why it’s so important to donate.”

The big screen inside the Kingfisher Centre will be promoting the campaign during the two weeks prior to Christmas.

You can help out by donating food to AM2PM’s office at Aysa House, 3-4 Church Green West, Redditch B97 4DY, visit them at https://www.facebook.com/am2pmrecruitmentredditch/ or simply donate to the Oasis Christian Centre on the corner of Plymouth Road and Bromsgrove, or at St Stephen’s.
