THE family of a missing Redditch man have issued an emotional statement urging him to get in touch.

Carl Day has been missing since Thursday, March 19 and while he is thought to have travelled to Staffordshire police say he could now be back in Worcestershire.

The family statement read: “Carl it has been 11 days and we’re all really worried.

“Please call anyone in the family or a friend to let us know that you’re safe and okay.

“If you don’t want to speak to us then you can call the police who are trying to help and keep you safe.

“And there’s also a charity you can get in touch with – ‘Missing People’ – if you need to talk to someone.

“Please, just let someone know that you are safe.”

Detective constable David Bunce from Redditch CID said that his ‘number one concern’ was making sure Carl is safe.

Carl, or anyone who knows where he is, is asked to get in touch with West Mercia Police by calling 101.
