FUN was had by all at a special seasonal Tea Dance complete with a dancing Father Christmas at Studley Village Hall.
Organised by Julie Summers and a hard-working band of volunteers the special event went ahead thanks to a small army of helpers who cleared the car park of snow and did much more to make the show still went ahead.
The Tea Dances are held roughly every quarter to enable senior citizens to get out of the house, enjoy a bit of company, a cup of tea and biscuits and cake.
Julie was inspired to start the dances up after her father passed away, leaving her mum and the entire family bereft.
“We want people to come here and have a happy afternoon together and from the feedback we get, that’s just what people are having,” said Julie.
The next Tea Dance has been inked in for April 18, 2018. Look out for more details in the new year.
