Feckenham's Scarecrow weekend returns after Covid

FECKENHAM’S popular Scarecrow Weekend is back after a gap of four years.

Feckenham villagers have been busy making the most imaginative, weird and wonderful displays to delight visitors.

The scarecrows will on parade from 11.30am to 4.30pm on Saturday,October 7 and Sunday, October 8.

There’ll be a Scarecrow Trail to follow with maps available at the start on The Square – where visitors will find the famous pink Tea Tent with an array of cakes, tea, coffee or soft drinks.

This time a barbecue and small bar have been added with games and novelties for the youngsters.

The Scarecrow Competition will be judged by the general public who can pick up their voting slips at the start of the trail.

The winners will be announced on Sunday afternoon.

Unlike many other events in the area, this event is just for fun – admission and maps will be free of charge with free parking too.

Any money taken at the tea tent or received in donations will be used for the upkeep of Feckenham’s village green.
