Fire and ambulance crews attend crash in Redditch town centre

EMERGENCY services were called to attend a two-car crash in Redditch this afternoon (Monday, March 20).

Two fire engines and two ambulances attended the scene at around 1.35pm where fire crews used equipment to remove the driver-side door to release at one of the two passengers from a car on Archer Road, opposite Redditch police station.

The bkack car crashed as the two lanes merge into one and two women from one car were treated at the scene.

A 55 year-old lady was given advice from paramedics and discharged at the scene while the other lady, a 51 year-old, complained of back pain and was immobilised at the scene before being taken to the Alexandra hospital for treatment.




Police also attended to manage the traffic and make the area safe for other drivers.
