Fire crews called to tackle large bonfire blaze in Studley

FIRE fighters from Redditch were called to tackle a large unattended bonfire in Studley last night Monday (October 31)
The bonfire blaze, believed to be on the site of the Griffin pub in Green Lane, got out of control and at around 6pm three fire engines from Redditch attended to make the area safe.
Crews used hose reels jets, thermal imaging cameras and a drag hook to tackle the blaze and a gas engineer was also requested due to a suspected gas leak in the area.
