FIRST Redditch scouts – Greenlands – were visited by a ‘wheelie’ interesting guest last week who treated the youngsters to a discussion on the importance of blood.
A member of the ‘Severn Freewheelers’ voluntary motorcycle blood biker group – Edward – popped in to see the scouts on Wednesday (November 11) and told them a little about the important work his team does across the counties.
The ‘Severn Freewheelers’ provide a 7pm to 7am response, delivering a fast and reliable service transporting hospital specimens, equipment and blood products between hospitals in seven counties including Worcester.
