A FUND-RAISING quiz complete with a fish and chip supper is to be held at Astwood Bank First School next weekend.
The quiz, organised by the Astwood Bank Carnival committee on Saturday (May 20) is at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
Entry is just £10 per team of four, and teams can sign up on the night with all proceeds going to the Carnival fund.
There will also be a fully licensed bar, with orders for fish and chips in the interval taken on the night.
Event organiser Charlotte Shepard said: “After such a great start to our fund raising year with the Easter Egg Hunt, where over 150 children joined in the fun, we are looking forward to the Quiz night. We’re going to add even more money to the pot of funds that we hand back out to the local community and national charities later on in the year.”
