A FOLK music fund-raising event is taking place at Beoley Village Hall on Saturday, April 13, to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Organiser Keith Kerans, who lost a friend to throat cancer, said: “Entry is free but we will be coming round to collect donations for this amazing charity.
“There will be three bands playing including ‘Revenge of the Wrinklys’, ‘Wexfords’ and ‘Dave Franconbs Mob’ to keep people entertained, as well as a raffle.”
Doors open at 7.15pm at the event is expected to finish around 11pm.
The Village Hall Committee will also be serving alcoholic drinks but locals must get their name put on the guest list in advance if they want to be served.
