Follow the bear for a good cause

Redditch Editorial 13th Nov, 2014 Updated: 18th Oct, 2016

HOLYOAKES First School opened its doors to a very special guest as part of Children in Need.

Pudsey the bear met pupils and parents to collect pennies and pounds for the appeal which will air on BBC One today (Friday).

The drive aims to raise funds to change the lives of children and young people in the UK.

More than 2,600 projects are currently being supported by the organisation every year.

The school will be holding another collection on Thursday (November 20) and will also be taking part in activities in their classrooms to boost the amount of money raised.
