FAMILIES in crisis are set to benefit from donations made by a women’s group.
Members of Kingfisher Redditch Ladies Circle, who regularly fund-raise for local organisations, spent a week collecting for Redditch Food Bank from workplaces, social clubs and friends.
They visited the Oasis Christian Centre, the main base of the food bank, on Monday (October 27) to hand over the donations.
Member Emma Beard said: “We were really happy with the response and it is something we may consider doing again next year.”
