A GIRLS football coach has launched the first girls only Player Performance Centre in Redditch.
Christopher Adams, head coach of Wolfpack Girls Football, wants to encourage girls and show them professional football is not just for boys.
Their aim is to prepare the girls for the demands of a high performance club environment technically, physically and mentally, as well as helping them grow as leaders, and mentors.
He said: “They will train in a challenging environment where they will aim to leave a better player than they arrived.
“We don’t chase perfection, only improvement
“We want to show them there are plenty of career options in football, even if playing doesn’t work out.
“Our weekly training centre will run alongside any club commitments they have as we will not be entering a team into any leagues as we focus on individual progression.”
The sessions are held between 5pm and 7pm at Trinity High School every Wednesday.
