FORMER Redditch Borough Council leader Joe Baker appeared at Worcester Crown Court this week, accused of sexual offences.
The independent councillor pleaded not guilty to three charges: sexual assault, causing a person to engage in sexual activity, and attempting to cause a person to engage in sexual activity.
The case was adjourned on Tuesday until a four-day trial, scheduled to take place at Worcester Crown Court on January 10, 2028.
Baker was suspended by Labour and stood down as council leader but still serves as a councillor.
