A FORMER Redditch mayor has seen his first book reach the Top 100 in an Amazon category.
Joseph Baker has been practising Wicca, also known as pagan witchcraft, for more than 20 years and decided to write ‘Wicca and Spells Made Simple’ to help give people a glimpse into how easy it is.
He said: “It’s been something I have been thinking about for some time now and decided now was the right time.
“It’s interesting that lots of people out there already practise it without realising it – Easter, Yule, Halloween as well as making wishes when blowing out birthday cakes.
“I hope that this book breaks down some of the superstitions and stereotypes that come with Wicca.”
The book called ‘Wicca and Spells Made Simple’ is currently selling well on Amazon and Joe is hoping soon to have his next book published soon.
